So have you heard the one about the husband who is also a dad who teaches 5th graders in his real life and matches OCD tendencies with his dear wife?
Yup, that’s me.

I’ve been using that bio line for several years now. Most of it is still true, but not completely.

I’m still a dad and a teacher and I still have a dear wife, but our marriage is in a place of uncertainty. A lot of what I write these days revolves around how I’m dealing with a painful part of life that I never chose and in which I would love to find reconciliation. God’s timing is different than my own, though, so here we are…each day a new chance to reflect the nature we were created to have.
